Long Swimsuit

Long Swimsuit

If you’ve spent the better part of your adult life chasing swimsuits that don’t make you feel like you're perpetually tugging, hitching or “adjusting” yourself into confidence, then you’ve come to the right place. We care about two things above all: comfort that lets you move, and design that makes you want to show up. That’s why the whole idea of a long swimsuit, a swimsuit cut specifically for longer torsos or taller frames, feels like a small revolution. Although it really shouldn’t! It’s not about finding something that sort of fits; it’s about designing a swimsuit to fit longer bodies, so the fabric sits where it should and you can breathe and, more importantly, swim without discomfort or hassle.

Long Swimsuit

Let’s start with the basics: a long swimsuit (or long-torso swimsuit) simply increases the body loop, which is the distance from the front top of the suit, through the crotch, to the back top, so things don’t ride up or pull at the shoulders. When that loop is too short, you get straps digging in, necklines stretched and bottoms that slowly migrate north. We’ve fixed that by adding length where the suit needs it, and we’ve also added adjustable straps on many of our long swimsuits so you really can achieve the perfect fit.

We’ve been designing longer-length swimsuits for pool laps, open-water swims and family beach days for years, and we have found that the best long swimsuits combine three features: a consciously longer body loop, good supportive construction (moulded or padded cups, secure back closures), and fabric that lasts. On that note, I want to recommend pieces from our longer length collection because our approach hits all three points for a more comfortable fit.

Here are our top picks

Ava Longer Length Swimsuit is the everyday winner. Our Ava swimsuit is the kind of suit that disappears once you put it on, in the best way. It is a longer-length design with multiple colourways and a gentle, confidence-boosting cut. If you want a no-fuss suit for swimming laps or lounging, Ava’s blend of coverage and shape is a brilliant choice.

Long Swimsuit

Stella Longer Length Clipback Swimsuit is practical and flattering. Our Stella swimsuits come in several prints and include a clipback for a secure fit. You’ll also find that the longer body-loop means your straps won’t feel like they’re about to fall off or cut in. We recommend Stella when you want a solid balance between classic styling and pool-ready utility.

Long Swimsuit

Lucille Longer Length Swimsuit is our choice for colourway lovers, as this style offers lots of colour options and a comfortable cut. If you’re someone who wants pattern and personality on top of fit, Lucille gives you both without sacrificing support or fit.

Long Swimsuit

Iris Longer Length Swimsuit is sleek, simple, and elegant. Our Iris swimsuits are ideal if you prefer a slightly higher neckline and a clean silhouette that flatters the torso. The longer length keeps everything in place, whether you’re doing a set of laps or lounging on the rocks.

Molly and Janice Longer Length Legsuits are ideal for extra coverage and athletic days. If you want more thigh coverage or are doing open-water swim training, a legsuit like Molly and Janice are brilliant. Legsuits offer confidence without restricting movement. Our longer-loop legsuits mean they won’t pull at the shoulders.

Sleek Longer Length Swimsuit is a great, stylish option. Sleek is a high neck favourite with longer-loop construction. This long swimsuit has simple lines, a dependable fit, and is a good starter if you’re transitioning into long-torso sizing for the first time.

Here are a few practical tips when choosing your long swimsuit.

Measure your body loop if possible. Our +5cm / 2" note is a meaningful number. If you’ve always felt your straps pinch, anything adding 1–2 inches to the loop can make a huge difference.

Look for styles with adjustable straps, as these let you fine-tune the rise without changing your swimsuit’s intended support. Many of our long swimsuit styles include adjustable straps or clipbacks, which help dial in fit.

If you’re bustier, look for moulded cups, clipbacks, or suits that specify padding or underbust shaping. Our swimsuits include features like moulded cups, in-built shelf bras and tummy control fabric on several pieces. These are great for feeling secure during activity.

We’d also suggest choosing chlorine-resistant fabrics and rinsing your long swimsuit after use. We make our swimsuits with a fabric Econyl, which is soft, durable and kinder to the planet. That’s a small but meaningful win for longevity and the environment.

We also want to be clear about fit language: “long” doesn’t mean “only for tall people.” Some folks have shorter legs and a longer torso, and they benefit just as much from these cuts. You don’t need to be conventionally tall to wear longer-length suits; it’s about the body loop and where the fabric sits. That nuance is important and makes our long swimsuits inclusive by design.

Finally, and this is our favourite part, wear whatever makes you feel like you. A swimsuit that fits correctly will do half the job; the other half is your confidence. The right longer-length swimsuit should free you to swim faster, laugh louder and relax more. If you’ve had a lifetime of tugging, give one of the longer-length Halocline styles a try. A long swimsuit is a smart tweak that respects your shape and lets you do what you came to the water to do: enjoy it.
