Long Swimwear
When we say long swimwear (or long swimsuits), we’re referring to one-piece swimsuits, or occasionally long legsuits and kneesuits, that are cut with extra length through the torso. That means the fabric from the top of the suit (front) down under the body and back up (the body loop) is longer than in standard swimsuits. With a long-length suit, you get a better fit that sits where it should. It’s not tugging painfully under the arms and over the shoulders, not riding up uncomfortably, and not falling short across the body.
Our long swimwear adds around 5 cm (2 inches) to the body-loop length. That difference makes all the difference.
What’s more, long swimwear isn’t just for tall people. Yes, tall women often benefit. But even if you’re not extraordinarily tall, you might have a longer torso, shorter legs, or a bigger bust. In any such case, a long-torso suit will almost certainly be more comfortable and flattering than a standard swimsuit.
